BOXING THE WAKE

Boxing the wake is a major step in a students instruction. Only after the tow has been mastered should the box be attempted. The object of the exercise is to hold different positions around the wake of the towplane.

A slight bank angle is required to move the glider to the side of the box and to keep it there.

A slight bank angle and down elevator is required to move the glider to the lower side and keep it there.
